Governance of the Mediterranean Sea: What is it about?


Conservation of marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean Sea means, in legal terms, the existence of a set of integrated rules effectively enforced. However, the Mediterranean Sea, because of its particular legal condition as international sea, improving good governance means:

- Strengthening international and regional processes that have an important role in the elaboration and effectiveness of rules.
