Governance of the Mediterranean Sea: What is it about?
|
Conservation of marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean
Sea means, in legal terms, the existence of a set of integrated
rules effectively enforced. However, the Mediterranean
Sea, because of its particular legal condition as international
sea, improving good governance means:
- Strengthening international and regional processes that
have an important role in the elaboration and effectiveness
of rules.
- Making information on governance for conservation of
marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean Sea accessible.
